Family Clay Day 

Are you looking for something fun and creative to do with the entire family? Come get messy making some pinch pots, coil pots, or “free play” in clay and make whatever your heart desires! This is an easy, fun activity for ALL ages! 

Each person can make up to do 2 pinch pots, coil pots or “creations”. Your pieces will be fired and ready for pickup within 2-3 weeks. 

All materials, such as clay and tools, will be provided, minus glazing. 

If you would like to glaze your own pottery an additional $20 fee per person is required OR I will gladly glaze and fire it for you at no extra cost. 

Anniversary/Date Night Wheel Throwing Class

What a perfect date idea! Although this class is not quite like the movie "Ghost" you can still experience the thrill of trying your hands on the pottery wheel! You can book a two hour private session with your partner or best friend.

A lesson will include how to prepare/wedge clay before throwing, how to safely operate the pottery wheel, basic hands-on demonstration/instruction of centering clay on the wheel and how to form a cylinder, basic knowledge of clay stages, and an hour or more of active throwing with professional guidance.

All materials, such as clay and tools, will be provided, minus glazing. 

If you would like to glaze your own pottery an additional $20 fee per person is required OR I will gladly glaze and fire it for you at no extra cost. 

Mommy & Me Pottery Class

Kids love playing in mud, so why not bring your little best friend to experience the thrill of using the pottery wheel?! A lesson will include how to prepare/wedge clay before throwing, how to safely operate the pottery wheel, basic hands-on demonstration/instruction of centering clay on the wheel and how to form a cylinder, basic knowledge of clay stages, and an hour or more of active throwing with professional guidance.

Hand Building a Mug 

In this class, you will learn how to properly wedge clay, how to roll out a slab, how to score and slip, and techniques to add texture to clay!

You will also be provided with basic knowledge of the clay and firing process! 

During this session, you will complete a hand-built mug and it will be fired for you to pick up! 

You are welcome to come back and glaze your pinch pots after the first firing, OR pick one glaze color and they will be glazed for you. 

This class is perfect for a day of fun with your friends or family!

Wheel Throwing Class

Have you ever wanted to try throwing on a pottery wheel? Now is your chance! 

A lesson will include how to prepare/wedge clay before throwing, how to safely operate the pottery wheel, basic hands-on demonstration/instruction of centering clay on the wheel and how to form a cylinder, basic knowledge of clay stages, and an hour or more of active throwing with professional guidance.

Yoga and Pottery Kid's Birthday PARTY

Do you want to add something FUN and interactive to your child's birthday party?! We will start off with a 15-20 minute playful movement/yoga class and then we will get creative by creating pinch pots out of clay! I will travel to wherever the party is located and bring all materials necessary!
